LETTER TO YOUNG CHRISTIAN (PART 7): ARISE! NIGERIA NEEDS YOU

In the spirit of Nigeria independence celebration, I will to inform and challenge the kingdom minded youth. I write to announce the need of compatriots to arise for our dear nation. I write to you, my beloved brothers and sisters to obey the call of Nigeria.

I have seen how people of the kingdom condemned any man who is actively involved in politics. I have seen how pastors and Christian’s society placed a stigma on any believers who show interest in politics.

The fact remains that the system of governance and politics in this nation is corrupt. This is a known fact all over the world. Shall we say Christians should stay far from governance so that they don’t get corrupted because the system of politics and governance of this nation that is corrupt? NO, I strongly believe the corruption of the system of governance of this nation is the major reason Christians needed to be actively involved in politics and occur political offices.

Young Christian, our fathers are shouting politics in Nigeria is a bad game. They have been saying politics in Nigeria is for the corrupt people. They have said all politicians are corrupt. Yet only a few among them took a step/action to correct that.

We all know the economy is bad, but who will fix it? We know the economy can’t improve without well-seasoned and God fearing man in leadership position to drive it. Yet the system to produce those men is corrupt.

We are called the salt of the world. We are the light of the world. Sir, we are not called to be a salt in the church but in the corrupt world. Ma, we are not called to be a light to ourselves or in the church but to be a light in this dark world.

This nation is in a dark age. Darkness is upon us, where are the light bearers? This nation is getting rotten. Are we going to stand in the comfort of the church wall or we are going to spread the salt to heal our land?

When are we going to stop running from our responsibility. This corrupt system of governance in Nigeria, this decadence in our society can only be washed and put to order by the righteous. But unfortunately, the saviors of our land are those who are running from it.

Beloved, until we arise and begin to put godly men in power than the status quo will remain in Nigeria governance. For godly people to stay away from governance and to expect to rejoice is magic.

When will the saviors arise? Nigeria has been calling since 1960 for the rising of the compatriots but she was fed upon by wolves. When will the godly compatriots arise to the call? When you will arise?
